A highly reputable and established metal fabrication company in the Sacramento area is seeking an experienced, proactive Maintenance Technician to manage all facility and production equipment maintenance. - Full-Spectrum Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery (welders, presses, button lock machines, etc.).
- Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot PLC systems, motors, gears, and work with 3-phase electrical systems.
- Inventory & Safety: Manage critical spare parts inventory and consistently champion a safety-first culture.
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven leadership skills and the initiative to manage projects independently.
- strong experience with both mechanical and electrical repair, including 3-phase electrical systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to perform basic fabrication (welding, cutting) for parts and machine modification.
- Bonus Skills: Any experience with basic HVAC system maintenance is a plus!

Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) Management: Create, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance system for all facility and production equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Perform expert-level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair on a variety of metal fabrication machinery, including welders, presses, button lock machines, and other plant equipment.
- Mechanical & Electrical Systems: Maintain and repair complex mechanical components such as motors, gears, and brackets. Service and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and diagnose issues in 3-phase electrical systems.
- PLC Troubleshooting: Utilize your knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting to diagnose and repair automated systems.
- Fabrication & Innovation: Embrace the opportunity to be creative by designing, fabricating, and modifying machine parts and systems to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
