Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and solving various maintenance issues (e.g., leaky faucets, broken doors, malfunctioning equipment).
- Operating and maintaining a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Performing preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Daily Janitorial and Cleaning:
- Common Areas/Break Rooms: Wipe down and sanitize counters, tables, and chair surfaces. Clean and wipe exterior and interior of shared appliances (microwave, refrigerator doors). Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners.
- High-Touch Point Disinfection: Sanitize all frequently touched surfaces, such as door handles, light switches, elevator buttons, handrails, and shared equipment (copiers, water coolers).
- General Dusting & Spot Cleaning: Dust all horizontal surfaces (desks, sills, shelves) up to reachable height. Spot clean walls, glass entry doors, and interior partitions for smudges and fingerprints.Replacing light fixtures, bulbs, switches, and outlets.
- Painting and Drywall (Surface Finishing)
- Patching and repairing holes in drywall or plaster.
- Prepping surfaces, painting, and caulking.
