Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Perform highly diversified duties to install, repair, and troubleshoot controls of fluid handling products. Understanding of basic PLC knowledge (Allen Bradley) Provide on call assistance for emergency/unscheduled repairs of Control equipment as needed. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic. Read and interpret pump manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Able to understand and follow ladder diagrams and wiring schematics Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Competencies
Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD, motor controls, process instrumentation, and Windows based control software desired. Knowledge of Allen Bradley software Technical Capacity. Ethical Conduct. Communication Proficiency. Results Driven. Initiative.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
