- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management within the aerospace industry, specifically at a distributor or parts supplier.
- In-depth, working knowledge of AS9120 and/or AS9100 standards.
- Proven experience leading successful audits (internal, customer, and registrar).
- Understanding and experience with quality tools.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- QMS Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage the company's Quality Management System, ensuring strict compliance with AS9120 and/or AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Audits and Compliance: Lead and manage internal, customer, and external (e.g., registrar) audits. Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters.
- Supplier Quality: Oversee the supplier qualification and monitoring program, including conducting supplier audits and managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) to ensure the integrity of the supply chain.
- Non-Conformance & Corrective Action: Manage the Non-Conformance and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, utilizing root cause analysis (RCCA) tools to drive effective resolution and prevent recurrence.
- Receiving/Shipping Inspection: Supervise the inspection process for all incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring full traceability and compliance with customer specifications (e.g., First Article Inspection Reports - FAIRs).
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team, promoting a quality-first mindset throughout the organization
