Responsibilities
- Perform full setup and operation of manual lathes and manual mills to create parts according to strict blueprint specifications.
- Utilize advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machines (lathes and mills).
- Work with various control systems, specifically Fanuc controls, and familiarity with Haas, Sharp, and Hyundai machines.
- Edit and optimize existing CNC programs, and create new programs using Mastercam and BobCAD software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to tooling, programming, and machine performance.
