Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, gauges, etc.).
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify product compliance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously document inspection results, identify non-conforming materials (NCMs), and generate clear, concise reports for quality records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to communicate quality issues, assist in root cause analysis, and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Process Improvement: Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
