We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Installer to join IAPs production shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the precise and efficient installation of various components, accessories, and specialized equipment onto customer and fleet vehicles. This role requires excellent mechanical aptitude, focus on quality, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions and wiring diagrams.

salary: $16.5 - $16.51 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Accurately install diverse vehicle accessories, which typically include:
  
  
  • Exterior Components: Hitches, trailer wiring, running boards, tonneau covers, mud flaps, grille guards, and lift/leveling kits.
    
    
  • Interior Components: Seat covers, storage solutions, floor liners, and cargo management systems.
    
    
  • General Assembly: Perform minor disassembly and reassembly of interior and exterior vehicle panels required for installations.
    
    
• Mechanical Work: Safely use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to secure accessories according to manufacturer specifications and best practices.
  
  
• Quality Control: Inspect all completed work to ensure proper function, alignment, and aesthetic appeal before vehicle handover.
  
  
• Maintain Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  
  
• Documentation: Accurately record labor and parts used on work orders and communicate any installation issues or delays to the Shop Manager.
