Responsibilities
- Operates all milk bottling fillers when needed to conclude the days bottling operations.
- Disassembles, and sets the filler machines up for C.I.P. cleaning.
- Manually cleans the filler machine frames.
- C.O.P. cleans all individual filler parts that cannot be C.I.P. cleaned.
- Hot-Water sanitizes the fillers following C.I.P. cleaning, manual cleaning, sanitizing, and machine Set-up.
- Visually inspects the filler machines to insure that the machine was properly cleaned, sanitized, and set- up.
- Replaces worn filler parts as needed, writes work orders requesting necessary filler repairs.
- Seals unused packaging materials and returns them to their proper storage area, located in the Dry Storage Warehouse.
- Washes filler room floors, walls, conveyors, and the underneath sections of the filler machines.
- Starts the filler C.I.P. cycle by activating the correct C.I.P. unit.
- Clearly marks and labels all C.I.P. charts with the date, time, designated C.I.P. unit name, and the employee's initials.
- Must obtain appropriate training as “Qualified Individual” to properly monitor Preventative Controls specific to job duties
