Quality Assurance & Compliance Documentation Specialist Schedule: Morning Shift, Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays required)

- Develop, maintain, and control all documentation for the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure rigorous compliance with FDA, BRC, and other regulatory standards.
- Manage and monitor the HACCP program and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Create and update essential Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct internal audits and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate across departments to integrate quality initiatives seamlessly.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a QA or Food Safety role within food manufacturing.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of FSMS, HACCP, and GMP principles.
- Skills: Proficiency in SOP development, auditing, RCA/CAPA, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities
- System Development & Management: Create, implement, and rigorously maintain documentation for the Quality Management System (QMS) and foundational Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure the facility operates in strict compliance with industry standards, including requirements set by the FDA and certifications such as BRC.
- Procedure Control: Author, update, and standardize detailed documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Hazard Control: Monitor and manage the organization's comprehensive Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program.
- Auditing & Verification: Plan and execute comprehensive internal and food safety audits to verify system integrity and compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead investigations into quality deviations or food safety incidents using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner across teams (Production, Operations) to ensure the effective rollout and adherence to all quality and safety initiatives.
- Documentation Tools: Prepare reports, documentation, and training materials using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
