We are seeking a Quality Engineer for a company in Bristol that manufactures springs, wireforms, and stampings. The ideal candidate will be someone who has proven experience in quality in spection and assurance, preferebly in a manufacturing environment. Must have GD&T knowledge and be able to read and work from complex blueprints. ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 experience is required. 

salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

 Conduct quality inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO
9001 standards.
 Utilize GD&T principles to evaluate and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
 Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control processes.
 Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to validate measurement systems.
 Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
 Oversee the PPAP process to ensure all necessary documentation is completed and accurate.
 Conduct mechanical testing and analysis to verify product performance and reliability.
 Program and maintain machine vision systems, specifically using Keyence technology.
 Utilize ERP and quality control software to track and report quality metrics.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective
actions.
