Responsibilities
- Ability to perform all duties assigned to Assistant Compounder and Compounding Storage Area Technician.
- Follow the daily manufacturing processes of cosmetic products, ensuring that safety, quality, cGMP compliance, and throughput are of key importance
- Understand, and ensure all applicable SOPs are followed.
- Maintain and/or complete departmental log books and ensure their accurate completion within the SOP requirements for each.
- Possess an understanding of compounding techniques for the manufacturing cosmetic products, including but not limited to, emulsions, anhydrous products, gels, liquids, powders, and dyes.
- Understand and follow cGMP requirements in alignment with company and departmental SOPs and guidelines.
- Perform and maintain quality, safety and housekeeping standards
- Have an understanding of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, pumps, silos, mills, kettles, mixers, in-line homogenizers, temperature gauges, DI water systems, drop-in homogenizers, valves, pressure gauges, screw conveyors, scales and pH meters
- Follow all check weigh procedures for the weighing of raw materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
