As a QC Technician, you will monitor production processes to ensure all food safety and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, monitoring packaging integrity, and ensuring our facility remains compliant with USDA/FDA regulations.

Responsibilities
- Production Monitoring: Conduct regular floor checks to ensure products meet weight, temperature, and labeling specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, legible records of quality checks and safety logs.
- Sanitation Checks: Inspect equipment and production lines for cleanliness before and during operation.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify quality deviations and work with production leads to pause or correct lines when standards are not met.
- Availability: Must be able to consistently start at 4:30 AM and work extended shifts (overtime) and Saturdays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor discrepancies in labeling, packaging, or product quality.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, work in varying temperatures (cooler/warehouse), and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Reliability: Since you are the first line of defense for the day's production, punctuality is non-negotiable.
