lead mechanic - production facility.

We’re hiring a Lead Mechanic for a production facility that’s been around for a while — so if you’re someone who actually knows how to troubleshoot, think on your feet, and keep older equipment running, this is your kind of role.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You won’t just be watching — you’ll be in it, helping keep production moving and guiding a small team.

What you’ll be doing

• Troubleshooting and repairing production/manufacturing equipment
• Working with older machinery (this is not a brand-new, automated plant)
• Leading and supporting other maintenance/mechanic team members
• Preventative maintenance + responding to breakdowns
• Keeping things running with minimal downtime

What we’re looking for:

• mechanical background (industrial, manufacturing, heavy equipment, etc.)
• Experience working on older or legacy equipment
• Ability to diagnose issues without relying on perfect systems
• Previous lead or supervisory experience is a big plus
• Military maintenance/mechanical experience = highly transferable

The environment:

• Not flashy — this is a working production facility
• Equipment has some age to it, so we need someone resourceful
• Stable, consistent work with a team that needs a leader

salary: $68,640 - $72,800 per year
