We are seeking a high-caliber Receiving & Inventory Lead to spearhead inbound operations for a premier, award-winning manufacturer. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the precision of our supply chain, from the moment raw materials hit the dock to their final placement in production. You will directly manage a team of four, including an Assistant Lead, ensuring that safety, accuracy, and efficiency remain the top priorities.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Direct Supervision: Oversee a dedicated team of 4, providing daily direction, training, and performance evaluations.
  
  
• Resource Planning: Flexibly allocate team members based on daily workload and production demands.
  
  
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a 6S-compliant workspace and ensure all equipment and dock doors are secured at shift end.
  
  

Inventory Control & Inbound Logic

• Appointment Management: Coordinate with the Sr. Manager and Supply Chain teams to schedule and approve all delivery arrivals.
  
  
• WMS/ERP Integration: Ensure all shipments are physically verified and electronically received into D365 within a 24-hour window.
  
  
• Discrepancy Resolution: Lead cycle counts, investigate inventory variances (ICAR), and implement root-cause solutions to prevent recurrence.
  
  
• Stock Optimization: Monitor aging or stagnant inventory and manage bin consolidation to maximize warehouse space.
  
  

Operational Strategy

• Production Support: Guarantee that raw material picking is completed accurately and on time to prevent manufacturing delays.
  
  
• KPI Analysis: Track and input daily performance data and provide monthly analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  
  
• SOP Maintenance: Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures and Inbound Routing Guides.
