Summary Ensure the efficient operation of all plant machinery in a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role focuses on high-level electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance to support production uptime and food safety standards.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot and repair complex electrical circuits (480VAC to 30VAC, 24VDC, and analog circuits).
- Maintain and repair bakery equipment: mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging gear, and refrigeration.
- Interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to locate and fix faults.
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs to minimize production downtime.
- Calibrate and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Perform routine PM checks on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Replace and repair parts including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, and switches.
- Use CMMS to document work orders, safety checks, and equipment history.
- Communicate shift irregularities to ensure a smooth transition between teams.
- Follow all safety protocols (LOTO), OSHA regulations, and GMPs for a food-safe environment.
- Stay available for on-call support and emergency repairs as needed.
- High School diploma; advanced industrial electrical and mechanical experience required.
- Expert knowledge of process equipment up to 480V and electrical schematic reading.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- NJ Boiler License preferred, not required.
- Ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
