Responsibilities
The Quality & Safety Lead is a critical mid-level leadership role responsible for bridging the gap between operational excellence and workplace safety. Based in our Opa-locka manufacturing facility, you will oversee a team of managers to ensure all products meet rigorous quality standards while maintaining a culture of safety. You aren’t required to be a "Safety Scientist," but you must be a disciplined leader who understands OSHA compliance, documentation accuracy, and team accountability.
- Experience: At least 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment (experience with paper or packaging is a plus).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing other supervisors or managers; ability to hold a team accountable for administrative tasks.
- Skills: attention to detail, (English/Spanish) is highly preferred for the Miami/Opa-locka market, and proficiency in digital reporting tools.
- Safety Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact for OSHA standards; conduct regular floor walks to identify risks and ensure the team is following safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Monitor production outputs for our paper and packaging lines to ensure they meet client specifications and internal quality benchmarks.
