Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct, coordinate, and work alongside the maintenance team to execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
- Task Management: Distribute and supervise daily work orders, verifying that tasks are completed on time and properly logged.
- Downtime Reduction: Diagnose and repair urgent machinery breakdowns quickly to minimize impacts on production.
- Preventative Care: Design, execute, and track predictive and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Staff Development: Train, guide, and mentor technicians on technical skills, standard protocols, and safety measures.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and precise records of all maintenance activities within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Project Support: Help plan and execute facility upgrades, new equipment installations, and special engineering projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production and engineering departments to analyze equipment failures, find root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to environmental regulations, safety protocols, and corporate policies.
- Inventory Control: Oversee the stock of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with procurement to reorder items as necessary.
- Process Improvement: Assist with initiatives aimed at boosting equipment reliability, lowering operational costs, and increasing efficiency.
