We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to spearhead our maintenance operations, keep our production lines running smoothly, and mentor a talented team of technicians within a fast-paced welding shop environment. In this role, you won't just fix machines—you will drive reliability, champion safety, and implement preventative strategies on critical shop assets like press brakes, welding guns, spray guns, forklifts, and both overhead and sit-down cranes. Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct, coordinate, and work alongside the maintenance team to execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
  
  
• Task Management: Distribute and supervise daily work orders, verifying that tasks are completed on time and properly logged.
  
  
• Downtime Reduction: Diagnose and repair urgent machinery breakdowns quickly to minimize impacts on production.
  
  
• Preventative Care: Design, execute, and track predictive and preventative maintenance schedules.
  
  
• Staff Development: Train, guide, and mentor technicians on technical skills, standard protocols, and safety measures.
  
  
• Documentation: Keep detailed and precise records of all maintenance activities within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  
  
• Project Support: Help plan and execute facility upgrades, new equipment installations, and special engineering projects.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production and engineering departments to analyze equipment failures, find root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
  
  
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to environmental regulations, safety protocols, and corporate policies.
  
  
• Inventory Control: Oversee the stock of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with procurement to reorder items as necessary.
  
  
• Process Improvement: Assist with initiatives aimed at boosting equipment reliability, lowering operational costs, and increasing efficiency.
