Responsibilities:
Performs any combination of following duties to assist Pharmacist in a Central Fill pharmacy: mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tables and capsules, and types labels for bottles
Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication
Receives and stores incoming supplies
Counts stock and enters data in compute to maintain inventory records
Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to hospital patient, compute charges, and enters data in computer
Cleans equipment and sterilizes glassware according to prescribed methods
Types and files reports, and completes formed as directed
Assists in stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory
Requirements:
Kentucky State and National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Pharmacy Technician Experience
Works with limited autonomy and under moderate direction
