Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for a qualified software engineer to join our embedded development team on the CH-53K and other helicopter projects. We are looking for someone with the ability to dissect and model existing software architecture with the intention of tracing architectural components to safety functions. Remote work is a possibility for this position.

responsibilities:
We are seeking an embedded software engineer with experience working in a highly regulated field/process compliance experience (aviation, healthcare, etc)in aerospace or defense industry able to perform requirement traceability. You will be expected to: -- capable of developing code at a low level such as at a bit level or device drive OS level within a Linksys, VxWorks Hypervisor, Linux environment -- software updates for an integrated processing cabinet (processing cards, network switches) for the CH-53K helicopter -- understand what hardware and software components satisfy the requirements -- communicate with the development team and be comfortable in a customer-facing role as needed. Proficiency in C programming is a requirement, and is developed under military standards.
