Primary Duties and Responsibilities (20%) Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS (20%) Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems(20%) Ensure delivered solutions are optimized reusability and scalability (15%) Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements(15%) Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code(5%) Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas(5%) Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization Education and Experience Profile BS Degree in CS, EE or a related field At least 7 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, EKS, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS, Route53, S3)Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure Demonstrate expertise with architecting, managing, deploying, and operating production infrastructure within an AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environmentDemonstrate ability to design and implement automation solutions / distributed applications / APIsAWS Cloud Architect and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications are highly desiredExperience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS Experience designing and building CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Kubernetes toolset (e.g, kubectl, kustomize). Demonstrated ability to write programs using a high-level programming languages or scripting, such Java, Python, Shell, Golang, etc.Experience with logging infrastructure and using tools such as Splunk, Logstash, or Kibana.Experience with networking load balancers such as Ngnix, Netscaler, HAProxy.
