This client is seeking a fully remote Senior User-Experience (UX) Designer who will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating this into user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes. You will work in close collaboration with the eCommerce product teams to deliver the user-centered visual design approach for their .com that will ultimately align with the company's strategic initiatives. In this role, you will also work cross-functionally (from product to engineering) to translate the business needs into inviting and well-crafted visual experiences & campaigns that delight our customer base. Additionally, this UX Designer will work alongside design partners to nurture and develop processes that aim to streamline UX design delivery and maintain a high customer experience, as well as consistency of their digital brand standard.
Not only that, you will be expected to facilitate design discussions and develop fresh and creative ideas to help shape the practice vision.This role will further require the UX designer to take part in intensive research while also working on active projects, so managing the workload and building out new prototypes on top of that is a must have. One will again be expected to meet with developers to discuss if the current work in flight is meeting existing requirements, as well.
Requirements/Competencies:
- Expertise delivering high impact approaches to digital products (Ecommerce experience is a big plus)
- Understands how modern digital tech is used with design. (HTML 5, CSS, React JS... development is not a requirement but a plus)
- Expertise using a variety of UX tools for design and research gathering; UXPin, digital whiteboarding, Jira, Video conferencing, Adobe etc...
- Expertise in conducting user research and appropriate studies in tools such as/comparable to UserTesting or UserZoom. UX designers will need experience in tracking user traffic, vetting out user interfaces to ultimately conceptualize, and providing read outs that will provide ammunition when presenting your formulated strategy to stakeholders. Qualtrics or FullStory knowledge is not required.
