Candidate will be responsible for leading an enterprise team in the financial services/private banking area. Will be responsible for driving solutions and implementing new initiatives as well as drive strategy.

The Vice President of Business Analysis reports to the CTO and is responsible for overseeing teams of business analysts (BAs) that identify, define and document business processes and software requirements to solve complex business challenges. This position is responsible for recruiting, developing and retaining talent, as well as ensuring the staff has the skills and capabilities to meet business needs. The candidate will be responsible for championing best practices and ensuring initiatives achieve business outcomes. The BA team serves as the liaison between business and IT teams within a project by facilitating communication and determining software objectives that align with stated and unstated business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, vision and direction for the business analysis organization
- Lead the business analysis organization to successful delivery of business outcomes
- Build strong working relationships with business leaders to ensure teams meet expectations and contribute to achievement of business goals
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop short-term and long-term strategic plans
- Support and facilitate the development of innovative solutions
- Manage personnel, vendors, and capital expenditures within allocated budget
- Develop and implement a workforce strategy to meet both current and future business needs through developing, hiring and/or sourcing talent
- Manage resource allocation across BA teams to maximize business impact and ensure each team has the skills and capabilities needed to achieve business objectives
- Manage BA talent, playing a key role in performance management and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Partner with Learning and Development to create a comprehensive professional development curriculum that supports business skills and domain knowledge
- Implement and manage status reporting, metrics and benchmarks
- Champion the adoption of and adherence to best of breed tools and processes
- Identify and implement solutions that adhere to industry requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices and applicable regulations.

- Bachelor's degree is required; graduate degree is desirable

- 10+ years of experience in talent management
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on private banking
- Experience leading large (15+ employee) teams
