Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
- Azure Data Engineer Certification
- Minimum of five years' experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise analytical applications in Azure
- Minimum of five years' experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka
- strong Data Engineering background with deep understanding of Azure Databricks architecture, Power BI architecture and Data Lake Architecture
- Proficiency with Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks and Power BI
- Proficiency creating end to end data pipelines in Azure Databricks using Databricks Notebooks, Databricks Jobs, Auto Loader, and Databricks Structured Streaming
- Minimum of three years' experience with transporting data from on-prem to Azure using Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks
- Proficiency deploying and automating data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency implementing data pipelines orchestration using Azure Data Factory, Databricks scheduler or AirFlow
- Proficiency exposing data in the Data Lake to services like Power BI or REST API
- Proficiency building large scale Data Model's in Power BI
- Proficiency developing distributed system in languages like Python or Scala
- Minimum of seven years' experience working with an enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)

- strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
- Minimum of seven years' experience supporting and developing enterprise applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Apache Spark Certification

- Knowledge of Angular development and Telerik UI controls

The Supply Chain Team is seeking a Principal Analyst who will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with enterprise teams to design and develop solutions using Azure Cloud Analytical Services and C# to support highly complex Supply Chain Systems. Further duties include analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions, performing data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences. The most suitable hire for this position will be a technical candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, writing and presentation skills and one who can communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors and business unit customers.
Note: A similar industry role may be Big Data Engineer or Azure Big Data Engineer with proficiency in Azure Databricks and Power BI
