The Lead DevOps Engineer oversees and leads the activities of a team of DevOps professionals. This role is responsible for ensuring the automation and tooling is built and supported to produce stable environments and measurable business value. The Lead DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with business and technology teams to promote and implement the standard systems that will release tools, infrastructure and software in a scalable and reliable fashion.
Champion a diverse array of open source and licensed technologies including Linux/Unix, Windows, IIS, .Net, SQL Server, Load Balancers, Networking, Cloud in both physical and virtualized environments. This role is a key liaison within Information Systems, bridging the gap between System Administration, Development and Information Security teams. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of skills and experience across all aspects of modern application development, as well as a holistic view of the applications and environments. The team lead will plan, organize and foster the goals which achieve business value.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- 4-year degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience with Information/Business Systems.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with DevOps Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects and people.
- Experience managing and growing a team preferred.
- Experience with Application Performance Monitors, Configuration Management (CM), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Containerization and Load Balancing
- Experience with deploying Code Quality and Security Governance related tools.
- Experience with Scripting and Programming Languages (C#, Python, PowerShell preferred).
- AWS, F5, Ansible, GitLab, Octopus, C#, Python
This role is responsible for managing a team of DevOps professionals including coaching, mentoring, and performing performance reviews.
