Scope: In this role, candidates will determine the goals of IT services within broad outlines provided by executive management and contribute to the continuity of information services by providing necessary leadership and project coordination. Candidates will be responsible for long-range plans to corporate objectives and prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, and acquisition of the resources needed to support them. Candidates will forecast costs, equipment, software, and personnel needs for projects and programs as required. The ideal candidate will stay abreast of the latest developments in information technology. Daily activities will include developing, implementing, and managing policies and procedures that more effectively utilize IT resources. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance of the IT Department, personnel, and systems with all applicable standards as set by legal requirement, the Executive Leadership Team, or Senior IT Leadership team. Additionally candidates will be held accountable for the performance of services through service reviews, SLA monitoring, and continuous improvement of service delivery processes and report directly to the SR IT Manager.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
- History of negotiating contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products
- Ability to facilitate Life Cycle process for new/existing systems and services and oversee operation readiness for services transitioning into production
- History of contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Computer science degree or equivalent experience required.
- Three to five years previous work-related experience.
