Summary:
- Plan and support implementation activities related to personal computing (PC) hardware and peripherals, inventory control, shipping/receiving and storage allocations. Ensures accuracy and completeness within the order processing function when hardware is procured and in stock, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Leverage experience in various aspects of the business which may include: supply chain, logistics, inventory & procurement.
- Use of interpersonal, problem solving, and data analytic skills to gather information, develop reports/dashboards. Work under minimal supervision. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of applicable experience.
- Work directly with the Product Managers and Suppliers on processing hardware PC orders
- Evaluate and generate purchase orders daily to Suppliers for hardware requests
- Process orders for large projects and initiatives to ensure hardware is shipped in a timely manner; follow-up with requester to provide tracking details and report delays
- Work with internal teams to manage demand forecasts level to assure they are accurately reflecting future hardware needs
- Routinely engage with suppliers to remain abreast of supply chain constraints, escalating when necessary
- Plan, manage, and track hardware orders to assure customer fill rates are maintained throughout an event or project
- Develop and maintain documentation that defines process
- Manage administrative processes timely to assure they support all procurement related activities "
- Excellent hardware procurement management skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills required to coordinate timely hardware shipments and inventory
- knowledge of Personal Computing lifecycle workflow tools
- Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently
- Possess analytical and communication skills

- knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Remedy and SharePoint
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Formulas, pivots, VLOOKUPS)
- Experience with ARIBA Buyer module and product catalogs
- Strength in integrating future required enhancements
