The Data Product Manager will have the opportunity to translate our data (both current and future) into a significant source of value for the business. They will identify and execute on opportunities to leverage trading and tool data to drive insights that enable us to trade faster and better - resulting in measurable business value. The Data Product Manager will work cross-functionally with our business teams, engineers, and existing data operations team.
This position will also collaborate with key leaders to accelerate our hyper growth status.
Core Functions
- Own all elements of new data products, including roadmap development, goal alignment, and value articulation
- Serve as the clearinghouse for data product initiatives and ideas, ruthlessly prioritizing for what delivers the most value to our customers
- Establish KPIs for each initiative and track progress
- Be the cross-functional leader for all data product initiatives, working closely with leadership and teams across the company
- Identify and execute on opportunities to develop new data pipelines to continually augment and scale our existing datasets and structures.
- Serve as a resource to the data team to help develop tools that drive quality and/or speed and/or scale
- You have 3+ years of product management experience, with exposure to or direct ownership of data-related products and functionality
- You have experience in B2B platforms, Ecommerce, and/or Marketplace products
- An understanding of data infrastructure and ETL systems
- Experience leading product initiatives from start to finish - ideation through execution through usage tracking
- Experience establishing and tracking against KPIs rooted in customer and business value, and holding team accountable for execution
- You have the willingness to learn, low ego, and proactively take ownership of responsibilities
- Familiarity with SQL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills grounded in bringing the team along in value delivery
- Ability to conduct user research and lightweight tests to scope and prioritize product initiatives
- User empathy and a user-centric design and product mindset
