Inventory and Asset Management Duties: - Receive equipment from distributor - Maintain equipment inventory and update when equipment is out for maintenance or repairs. - Manages inventory to assure adequate levels of spare equipment is available at all times and order new equipment as needed. Routine inventory reconciliation required per UCDHS policy and procedures. - Deploy equipment to departments and individual staff member and provide any training that may be required. - Package, return and track defective equipment for replacement and/or repairs. - Analyze report and track trends with equipment problem. - Analyze and reconcile vendor reports to ensure accurate billing for equipment and services Emergency Response & Customer Service Duties: - Auxiliary Services will be required to be on call and respond to issues that are escalated during an on call event. - Analyst will be required to provide immediate response to all campus emergencies in accordance with UCDHS policies and procedures. Auxiliary Services employee will be required to assist, and possibly correct any Auxiliary Services technologies, included but not limited to: Televisions and distribution infrastructure, Patient Education, Qmatic, Surveillance Systems, Card Access, Building Security Alarms, Nurse Call and Physical Patient Security Systems - Analyst will be required to support, troubleshoot and/or resolve issues escalated. - If on-site assistance is required, technical analyst will be required to keep the incident properly documented and follow-up timely with the customer. - Analyst will be required to be constantly communicating in a courteous manner while coordinating work in progress and informing customers of projected start date and delays. - Schedules work to minimize disruptions to customer operations. - Monitors work to insure quality end products are provided in a timely manner and that work sites are cleaned up at the end of each shift and after the work is complete. - Ensures that the customer is satisfied with the end product, before closing out a work order. Notifies manager of project concerns or issues that could escalate and impact budget, deadlines or customer satisfaction Safety & Work Ethics Duties: - Analyst will be required to protect themselves with safe work habits such as wearing protective equipment when needed, proper body mechanics when lifting/moving items, keeping work sites and shop organized, operating tools and equipment in a safe manner, using universally accepted as safe methods for accomplishing each task associated with the work assignment (meets manufacturers' specifications, as well as OSHA standards). Insures that the goal of 95% is accomplished as scheduled and that they attend training, participate in shop safety meetings/training classes, follow departmental policies/procedures such as lockout and tag out, MSDS, confined space, infection control, audiograms and asbestos material are adhered to. Report conditions that compromise employee safety and other safety violations to his/her Supervisor and the safety office. - Employee will report to and leave work at the prescribed times, adhere to break/lunch schedules, focuses on productivity by using working hours effectively, demonstrates appropriate behavior and observes the rights and feelings of others. - Excellent organizational skills to determine workload priorities and to enable timely completion of tasks.
