Job Description
The Application Administrator is a key member of the Information Technology team responsible for day-to-day administration and support of business applications, processes, and integrations, requiring both technical capability and business understanding.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and configure software, upgrades, patches, and version releases.
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues and execute preventative measures where appropriate.
- Monitor support tickets, prioritize, and resolve in a timely manner consistent with SLAs.
- Provide acknowledgements, timelines, updates, and resolutions to end users' incident reports and service requests.
- Work with the IT operations teams to resolve software applications issues and optimize performance at various layers in the technology stack.
- Collaborate with system administrators to manage the integrity and safety of data through replication and backup technologies.
- Manage the security and provisioning/deprovisioning of various software applications for adds/moves/changes and terminations.
- Facilitate the audit of user access to applications on a regular schedule.
- Create and maintain custom reports as requested by the business using SSRS, PowerBI, and other reporting tools.
- Use analytical skills to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve data quality and reporting issues.
- Liaise with application vendors through project lifecycles and post go-live support.
- Work with Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to identify and execute systems and process optimizations.
- Collaborate with BSA and business teammates to design technical solutions.
- Collaborate with BSAs to identify opportunities for improvements that align with organizational vision and strategy.
- Create and maintain systems documentation.
- Keep up to date on technology trends with a focus on administered applications.
- Keep current on supported applications' features, releases, upgrades, and changes that may be relevant to WWP.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Technical knowledge of databases, report writing tools (SSRS; or PowerBI a plus), and data analytics.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating system and standard Windows applications.
- Proficiency in any of the following applications or tools: Dynamics GP, Workday HCM/Expense/Payroll, SAS Financial Management, SQL Server, Jitterbit, MoveIt, Smartconnect, Trintech, or Salesforce.
- Working knowledge of applications design, configuration, and administration practices to optimize performance, availability, and reliability
- Demonstrated understanding of integration tools and data extraction, transformation, and loading methods including security protocols.
- Working knowledge of applications security monitoring and controls
- Demonstrated understanding of standard application architecture, IT literacy around applications and systems.
- Analytical and diagnostic skills to resolve application support issues.

Requirements:
- Three years of experience in administration or support of software applications with proficiency in any of the following applications or tools: Dynamics GP, Workday HCM/Expense/Payroll, SAS Financial Management, SQL Server, Jitterbit, MoveIt, Smartconnect, Trintech, or Salesforce.
- One year of experience creating and maintaining documentation of applications specification and operation.
- One year of experience creating and maintaining software integrations.
- One year of experience managing external vendors relationships.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related business field. Equivalent combination of applicable experience, education, training, and certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
