- MS degree in Electrical Engineering. Degrees in other engineering and science fields with a focus in electronics or signal processing will also be considered
- 7+ years of job experience in radar, and training/experience in several of the following areas:
- Systems Engineering Processes and Methods including Architecture and Requirements analysis and development
- Relevant international automotive standards and regulations
- Radar or communications systems designs (link budget, sensitivity analysis, FMCW, pulse-Doppler processing)
- Antenna and waveform design (phased array, receiver/exciter designs - patterns, receiver chain analysis)
- Analog and Digital signal processing
- Automotive electronics
- Advanced math skills and the ability to develop concept from physics principles
- Good oral and written communications skills including documentation and report generation including MS Office Suite
- Some travel may be required

responsibilities:
Our experienced Principle Systems Engineer will be working in a technical leadership position that is responsible for driving an automotive radar design along a system engineering process to ensure the product meets critical objectives. This involves technical coordination and contributing to the architecture definition, iterative requirements development, performance analysis, signal processing algorithms design, verification and validation of the system design, as well as providing support to the hardware and software development. This requires interaction with an agile global radar design, validation, and production team and offers the opportunity to travel to other corporate and/or customer sites to support test and/or demonstration efforts. In the fast-paced automotive environment, product objectives are not only driven by customer specific requirement but also by relevant national and international standards such as NCAP and global regulatory, all of which evolve and change over time. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree in electrical engineering, or physics/math with demonstrated skills in some of the above mentioned areas and enjoys applying his excellent communications skills including documentation and report generation in an innovative and dynamic context.
- As a key member of the systems team, drive the definition and high-level design of the radar and exploration of alternative solutions along a system engineering process
- Participate in the synchronization of HW, SW and radar signal processing teams to ensure consistency of designs and tradeoffs using coaching and questioning to steer the teams to an integrated solution in line with market needs
