Responsibilities include management and support of business applications for the Client's North American region. Specific application responsibilities include: Mediaocean Prisma and Spectra systems. This position responsible for supporting over 2,600 users of the Mediaocean system in North America.

responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide leadership for client groups and Shared Services in North America to ensure reliable and efficient use of and support of the Mediaocean system.
- Oversee annual development of enhancements to the Mediaocean system. Client's contracted allocation is aprox $1.5M in annual new development and also includes 10,000 hours of development and 20 days of training. (5 Full time resources)
- Lead deployment of Mediaocean to new divisions
- Lead deployment of enhancements to support new clients
- Lead testing, deployment, communication, and change management of 10+ major software releases annually
- Enforce standards in software applications development and implementation and provide that appropriate capabilities are present in North America operations.
- Provide effective communication in interacting with Business Information Leaders and Global Technology professionals regarding applications projects.
- Effectively manage vendors in concert with Procurement and Finance.
- Contribute actively in the applications development strategy to support each business need.
- Manage applications development lifecycle for assigned applications.
- Deliver quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain documentation & training materials for assigned applications.
- Provide ongoing maintenance of applications to meet service level expectations.
- Oversee application help desk/support function for assigned applications.
- Responsible for application integration and interface support.
- Responsible for budgets and governance within this function in concert with client practices.
- Build an outstanding staff in concert with Human Resources through effective recruiting, training and support
- Manage applications development lifecycle for assigned applications.
- Deliver quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Responsible for application integration design and strategy.
- Responsible for budgets and governance within this function in concert with GIS practices.
- Build an outstanding staff in concert with GIS Human Resources through effective recruiting, training and support.
- Perform other functions as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5+ years progressive leadership experience in Financial Systems, with a minimum of 3 years experience in an Application Support leadership role
- 5+ years of Advertising experience
- Working knowledge of major application vendors
- Experience working with an outsourced or offshore development team
- FTE reporting responsibilities of 4 or greater, OR IS budgetary responsibilities of $1 million USD or greater, OR Past positions with significant business impact accountabilities (M&A, Strategic Planning, etc.)
- Experience with Vendor relationship management
- Experience managing support teams for enterprise applications such as Mediaocean, Longview, Hyperion, PeopleSoft or SAP
- Customer service skills
- Application of analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with Sarbanes Oxley compliance as it relates to application support
