This role sits within our Finance Innovation Office (FIO) and will be responsible for the planning, leading, and executing of Global, cross-functional, enterprise-wide projects impacting the Finance organization. We are seeking a professional with in-depth experience in designing, managing, and implementing all necessary activities to manage the successful execution of medium to large scale project(s). This leader will also be responsible for indirect leadership and support of a team of project resources across multiple departments and business units and direct line management of a team of US based Project Managers (PMO)

responsibilities:
Manage medium to large scale projects within the Global Finance Department ensuring on-time delivery and quality. Oversees and tracks project performance of medium and large-scale project(s) ensuring on-time delivery and proactive management and escalation of risks and issues.
Plan, initiate and support the execution and delivery of projects while adhering to project management processes. Must have good initiative and adopt the project management methodology including risk and issue management, status reporting, etc.
Sets-up project infrastructure including project plan, dashboard reporting, executive reporting, milestone tracking and risk logs within Smartsheet. Prepare detailed status updates for projects.
Develop and manage a portfolio view of all current and future projects, identifying interdependencies between project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resources.
Oversees and tracks project performance and time allocations and assists with resource planning across the portfolio.
Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Internal Audit, Change Management and Communications, etc.) to create detailed project plans that are integrated into the overall project plan. Promotes transparency and collaboration across all stakeholders, departments, and project team members.
Consults with business partners to clarify and define complex project requirements, budgets, and business cases to align with strategic objectives.
Will be a key point of contact in the coordination of project planning and tracking activities.
Updates Project/Program resource management tracking and applies resource tracking methodology to ensure consistent assessments for projects and efficient and effective assignment of PMs across the Portfolio.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct line management of a team of 3 US based Project Managers. This could include recruitment, training and ongoing personal development including project management support and supervision.
Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworker
