Ranstad Technologies is looking for a Tier 1 Technical Help Desk analyst for a 6+ month contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
Required background and skills include the following:
- Associates or bachelor's degree in related field
- 2-3 years of technical help desk/ desktop experience supporting internal end users in a Windows environment
- Desktop Support
- Windows 8/ Windows 10/ Active Directory/ Exchange troubleshooting experience
- Problem solving skills
- Exceptional customer service support experience
- ITIL Foundation knowledge
- ITSM (ServiceNow is preferred)
- Can do attitude and takes ownership of tickets created
- Highly organized and documentation skills
- Able to communicate and walk non- technical savvy end users through issues patiently and in leymans terms
- Must have experience supporting apple devices to include Mac Laptops, iPhone, and iPads.
- Nice to haves include: any project management, process improvement, familiar with migrating data to dropbox; support of workday application; and any experience or knowlege of supporting Zoom (conference, chat, phone)

responsibilities:
- Provide support services to internal departments and external customers. This includes sorting a wide range of hardware, networks, servers, and internal/external software through various organizations within the company. This may include but is not limited to the following:
- Tier 1 level support of all inbound Calls, Chats, and emails
- Desktop Support
- Accurate and detailed ticket logging of all interactions into incident management system (Service-Now)
- Accurate, timely, and professional resolution on all supported issues
- Timely and professional follow up on all incidents and callbacks
- Quick identification and control of high priority issues
- Accurate escalation of tickets per departmental procedures
- Efficient and accurate resolution of all assigned tickets
- Preferred: Able to assist with projects as needed, look for opportunities of process improvement
