Description:
- Data Architect for Enterprise wide program includes several independent/related projects which require interactions with LOB leadership and technical background.
- Experienced leader with database architecture and data modeling experience, ability to work across multiple teams to ensure consistent implementation of the data architecture.
- Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;
- Create the Information Architecture for complex Enterprise Transactional Data stores and Data warehouses
- Data Management Standards and policy adherence: Data Quality controls and monitoring, Data Lineage, Metadata management and Sensitive data protection.
- Develop database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database strategy, architecture, physical structure and functional capabilities
- Create Conceptual Data Model, Data Flows, Data Management specifications
- Develops strategies for data acquisitions, distribution, archive, recovery, and implementation of a database.
- Provide Leadership to the business and technology teams in identifying the data flow associated with a business flow and guides data provisioning and data capture process optimization
- Contribute to the overall system design and operational design
- 10-12 years of experience in the IT field with progressive experience as an Information Architect for large and complex systems (Must have 5+ years of data architecture experience)
- In depth experience with relational database and data warehouse development.
- Solid background in Database solutions administration and/or Database development Oracle Exadata, Big data tools (Hadoop, etc)
- Extensive Data modeling experience is required using Sybase Power Designer, Erwin.
- analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- knowledge of data management concepts, including database structure, and proficiency with SQL and other standard database query tools.
- Experience in data analysis, data mapping techniques.
- Work experience with Business Intelligence (data architecture, entity relationship planning, dimensional modeling, ETL, OLAP, analytical reporting) preferred
- Experience in Risk/financial technology or operations support will be an added plus
- Knowledge of data quality checks and processes and building it into the system
- Process reengineering and system integration experience
- Experience implementing solutions using Pega system toolset is added plus
