Summary:
- The Client Regulated Voice Recording team directly supports test and certification functions for products and solutions in conjunction with the Global Network & Infrastructure Solutions Architecture & Engineering organization. Our network labs are leveraged across our internal voice, contract center, video, optical, packet data and security product towers to certify all aspects of daily tasks in addition to validating highly complex networking solutions.
- The staff resources working in this position will be responsible for the test and certification of Regulated Voice Recording and Communications Surveillance Enterprise within the Client network labs.
- Directly support the Architecture & Engineering organization for executing component and solution test and certification functions.
- Test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability and compatibility with existing systems.
- Provide local software and hardware support requiring complex integrated configurations in the areas of NICE NTR, NICE Compass & Sentinel, WORM storage, IPC Unigy, Cisco CUCM, Avaya, LAN/WAN, Enterprise Skype and SIP REC.
- Develop and write procedures for installation, use and troubleshooting of Integrated Hardware and Software and prepare instruction manuals and training guides as assigned.
- Obtain quotes from vendors for equipment repair or purchase.
- Assist in the development of project supporting information to include Bill of Materials (BOMs), cost estimates and equipment placement requests.
- Manage equipment ordering, shipping, receiving and asset management.
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/MSFT/VMWARE Collaboration certifications or equivalent work experience required. BA or BS in Telecommunications, Data Communications or Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ Years Voice Recording, IPC Turrets, Cisco VoIP/Microsoft Skype/Lync experience.
- knowledge of NICE NTR, Cisco & IPC integrations, Mobility, SBC's
- Experience with QoS configurations, jitter, diagnosing and tuning QoS and performing bandwidth analysis.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, switches and routers.
- Knowledge of RTP/RTCP, JTAPI, CTI, codecs G.729 & g.711, SIP is required.
- Experience with configuration and support experience in a complex multi-layered network environment.
- Experience with Windows Active Directory
- Excellent customer service skills including reporting, organization, written and oral communication and task prioritization.
- Must be highly motivated and a self-directed individual.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
- Experience working under tight deadlines and high pressure environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Capable of quickly learning new technologies and procedures, as well as being willing to train others in procedures mastered as part of implementations.
