This role is for a Mid to Senior level digital designer. This is a UI-oriented role primarily focused on MOBILE APP, although there will be opportunities to work on both App and Web. This contractor will augment the team's current capacity, to support roadmap work primarily in the Retail space. This is truly an omnichannel design opportunity since most transactions that start online end up on store This contractor will work alongside other UX/UI designers and copywriters on the team and partner closely with business owners, product owners, business analysts, and developers when crafting innovative design solutions. Collaboration is a huge part of this role.
Must-Have:
- At least 2 years of solid, hands-on design experience
- A portfolio that contains real design work that has been put into production
- A portfolio that contains interactive prototypes (or links to prototypes)
- Great presentation and communication skills
- A formal design education or a minimum of 5 years of proven design experience
- A well-built online portfolio containing multiple examples that are presented in depth
- A portfolio that contains interactive prototypes (or links to prototypes)
- Enthusiasm and a Curiosity for solving problems - Familiarity with iOS and Android standards
- Ability to work in the US for 24 months without any Visa issues
- Experience working for larger companies / with larger teams is a plus
