responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Preparing all document deliverables for delivery to the IRS (updating the document version and date, correcting spelling errors, formatting issues, etc.) and delivering said documents by the delivery date specified in Project and Document Delivery schedules - 20%
- Creating Document Delivery schedules based on the Project Master schedule and communicating delivery dates to Document Owners - 20%
- Merging content from multiple document authors into a single composite document - 20%
- Providing weekly Document Delivery status to the MeF Management Team - 10%
- Working effectively with the client to receive document review feedback, distribute it to one or more document owners, collect and merge IBM's responses, and reply in a timely manner - 10%
- Notifying the Project Scheduler/Project Manager in advance when on-time delivery of a delivered document is in jeopardy so that corrective action can be taken - 5%
- Providing to the Project Scheduler(s) the document schedule progress as requested - 5%
- Maintaining records of document approvals and delivery emails for record keeping purposes - 5%
- Storing all document deliverables using the Project Configuration Management tool(s) - 5%
- MS Word (Strong) & MS Excel (Moderate) - 5 years
- Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, use, and become proficient in tools and products used by the MeF project for managing, archiving, and configuration control of documents. Examples include: IBM Program Work Center (IPWC), Rational ClearCase, Box, WebEx, Slack; Rational Engineering Workflow Management (Change and Configuration Management, Source Code Management). - 5 years
- Knowledge of documentation delivery lifecycle - 5 years
- Demonstrate strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills - 5 years
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail
- Experience with Technical writing
- Willingness to be proactive and to perform persistent follow-up when necessary, working with document owners to build trust and transparency
- Ability to develop a trusted work relationship with stakeholders (internal and external)
