Seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in our industry. Cisco certification would be a plus. Candidate must be local to Raleigh-Durham and able to come onsite as needed. Must have GxP experience.
Installs, maintains and evaluates network systems and communications. Troubleshoots the network issues with diverse scope. Assists network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies. Must have extensive knowledge of Internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of computer science, or engineering or its equivalent.
The network engineer must have demonstrated hands on experience with:
1. Troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HSRP, Layer 2 Technologies: VSS, STP, SPAN, Layer 3 Technologies: QoS, OSPF, Multicast
2. Experience with some of the following: Cisco routing and switching, F5 Load Balancers, TACACS+/Radius, Nexus, Checkpoint firewall, Cisco Wireless
3. Experience with a GxP environment
4. Be a good team player with demonstrated customer focus; builds good customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
5. Proven record of a good analytical and problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
6. CCNP Level experience required. CCIE a plus
7. good written and verbal English communication skill.
