We have a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Fiserv DNA Systems Analyst. This position is fully remote but candidates must reside in CA, OH, TN, ID, MO.
Job Description:
The Senior DNA Systems Analyst participates and leads development efforts for the construction, implementation and support of software solutions that meet established specifications, design criteria, quality standards and business requirements for the company's Fiserv DNA (DNA) system. A significant emphasis of this role is integration of DNA-centric software solutions into the platform. This individual will also be given the opportunity to develop solutions using JavaScript and other supporting technologies for DNA. The position requires experience with integrating third-party systems to DNA, as well as support of existing integrations. The role includes developing improvements in efficiencies with processes associated with the core system.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Act as the advanced technical core lead on Core Application projects, as assigned
- Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create system solutions that support overall business strategies, including enterprise-wide business initiatives
- Create system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation for medium- to large-scale business initiatives related to Core Applications or Integrations
- Elicit clear business objectives and requirements from both business and technical stakeholders
- Draft quality functional specification documents (Agile User Stories) for management review
- Independently analyze and identify gaps between processes and systems
- Review current integrations and create recommendations in efficiencies
- Conducts code reviews of peer's unit tests, and debugs applications
- Work with Application Engineers to design and implement new solutions
- Work with Application Analysts to establish unit test criteria
- Ensure the practice of code guidelines and best practices
- Establish and validate constructed code against unit test criteria
- Participate in projects through the various phases
- Create technical design documents for projects
- Provide postproduction support and development leadership to team members
- Create and maintain complete programming specifications, functional design, and both high and detail level technical design templates
- Create system prototypes and deployment scripts
- Provide support for DNA application upgrades, as well as upgrades to related ancillary applications
- Perform troubleshooting and analysis to assess root cause of application issues
- Maintain a high degree of knowledge on current technologies and tools
- Provide recommendations to improve operating efficiency and functionality of assigned systems areas
- Assign and oversee development tasks
- Lead cross-team dependencies, rapid schedules, and a constant evolving business environment
- Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle
- Ability to work independently
- Optimize software processes for speed and/or memory efficiency
- Advanced level experience with Agile Development processes
Education, EXPERIENCE & Certification:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university and five years of related work experience or minimum eight years related work experience
Certification:
- Relevant certificates in development/MS certifications/Security/Agile/ITIL a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and developing within Fiserv DNA core system
- Minimum of 7 years overall software and/or application development and integration experience
- strong SQL skills; experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
- Minimum 2 years' experience in .NET C#, HTML and JavaScript
- Experience in CSS, MERN, WCF, WPF and ASP.NET a plus
- Experience in Open-Source technologies a plus
