10+ years experience, PURE BACK END ROLE. MUST have proficient Java or Node.Js experience. MUST have good microservices and heavy API development. Relational database experience, MySQL or SQL server. This is a lead role, must be ok mentoring/coaching/training the more jr developers but not managing. Fully hands on coding position. Finance experience would be great but not a must have.

responsibilities:
- Design and develop micro services to meet functional, stability and scalability
requirements.
- Create standards and provide guidance on developing consistent APIs.
- Design and architect scalable APIs and data connector frameworks.
- Leading the architecture, design, development, and launch of high available, low latency,
flexible and scalable APIs.
- Significantly influencing our overall strategy by helping define features, drive the software
architecture, and spearhead best practices that enable a quality product.
- Researching 3rd party products that promote service-oriented architecture in AWS
- Promoting infrastructure as code and helping teams to shift to an automated deployment
process.
- Adopt test driven development methodologies and write automated unit and integration
tests
- Work in agile team environment and coordinate with architects, engineering leads,
managers, and product managers
- Mentor and assist other junior engineers in design, implementation, and code reviews
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition,
requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of data structures and algorithms, object-oriented
programming, and software engineering principles.
- Ensuring that deployed products are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle.
- This position requires to participate in on-call support on a rotation basis with the team.
- Should be quick leaner and open to learn new things.
