job summary:
Rapidly growing manufacturing company is looking for a Help Desk Specialist who will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software in a team Help Desk environment. Will respond to inquiries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine/implement solutions.

responsibilities:

• Provide tier 1 and 2 technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Develop and exhibit technical subject matter expertise on the supported systems and associated business processes.
• Respond to queries via email or over the phone.
• Assign Active Directory permissions
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Document IT Help Desk related solutions.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Computer builds/clean up.
• Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved.
• Other tasks include password recovery, system monitoring, perform restore and backups (Veeam), software and printer installs, troubleshooting Windows.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of help desk experience any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Associate's degree in relevant discipline preferred.
