Our Client is seeking a motivated software professional with outstanding attention to detail to join our Development team as a Data Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer. The Data QA Engineer is responsible for improving the quality of a variety of software applications by creating and executing test cases, including manual and automated testing.

responsibilities:
- Preparing reports for upper management regarding project status
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
- Deliver backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, design test coverage plan
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Execute and maintain regression test suites.
