responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with project team members to produce documentation such as Software
Design Description (SDD), Software Design Specification (SDS), and Failure
Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEAs).
- Lead multiple documentation projects and ensure critical deadlines are met.
- Coordinate, develop, write, and edit to compose clear, concise, and readable
technical documents that may include diagrams, flow charts, photos, and graphics that
must be gathered and manipulated to support content.
- Import documents in Jama or Agile and drive review process.
- Maintain and promote alignment to company documentation style guides and
content specifications.
- Facilitate meetings with engineers, multi-functional teams, or project teams to
review documents.
Qualifications
Required
- BS/BA degree or technical writing certification desirable
- A minimum of 3-5 years of technical writing experience. Exposure to software,
medical device industry environment and regulations
- Excellent English verbal communication and experience with engineering
documentation or specification proficiency
- Proficiency using the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Jama and Agile
Preferred
- Experience with embedded systems, software development lifecycles is a plus
- Familiarity with Jira and Airtable is helpful
This can be a fully remote position but may require in person office work occasionally.
