The Web Developer III position is part of a fast-paced software development team. They will assist in software development and maintenance of the current product suite by participating actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle. They should be knowledgeable of n-tier architectures and have experience in Java Web Development. Work with analysts, developers and managers as part of project development. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

responsibilities:
Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including but not limited to helping finalize functional specification(s), articulating and implementing scalable designs and providing deployment support. Design, develop/debug and unit/integration test programs in Java 6 or higher SE/EE and ensure all code written is cross browser compliant. Expected to remain conversant with newer web programming technologies and be prepared to undergo training in said technologies as circumstances dictate. Measure, review and forecast project status and remediate project risks by actively working with the project team. Expected to take a primary role in addressing project challenges that affect software development by escalating appropriately. Mentor junior developers in getting up to speed with the applications and perform peer code reviews as needed.
