Quality Management

Monitor product & process quality through RMAs, Scrap and Rejects. Take action to contain, correct and solve quality concerns at the root level.
Coordinates with other managers and associates to identify critical success factors, develop measurement systems, and implement continuous process improvement methodologies.
Designs, develops, and implements comprehensive quality assurance programs.
Maintains, enforces, and measures quality assurance processes.
Assures on-time delivery of new projects; ensures product quality, performance, and conformity with company established specifications.
Assists with the planning and implementation of new programs, services, and projects; monitors progress and evaluates results; recommends changes or other action as appropriate.
ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Understand and interpret customer requirements; convert into manufacturing requirements (define necessary inspection and critical process points and required methodologies).
Customer complaint response and tracking: Monitor complaint type and frequency to verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Serves as a liaison between the organization and customer.

SHE Management

Oversees all EHS programs and compliance through subordinate management
Perform various types of EHS property inspections and safety related audits
Facilities the investigation of all accidents and near miss occurrences, identifies trends and causes and ensures that corrective measures are implemented
Establishes and oversees training programs including new hire safety training programs, compliance training, safe operation of machinery and equipment
Develop and launch ISO 14001 implementation plan
Administration of loss sensitive insurance programs and the safety requirements of these programs required
Coordinates annual fire inspection tours and planned/unplanned tours by other safety and health regulatory agencies
Ensure the entire workplace follows industry, state, and other company-related guidelines or rules

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in related field.
8+ years of experience in quality assurance management
Experience managing a quality team in a manufacturing environment
Additional experience with SHE Management is preferred.
strong Quality background, ISO-9001 experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA regulations and other governmental work/employer related legislation required
Advanced knowledge of loss sensitive insurance programs and the safety requirements of these programs required
Collaborative/team-based management style preferred.
