    The Tax Associate position will be responsible for the timely filing and payment of indirect taxes related to the corporate organizations portfolio. This role will provide support to leaders within the Tax Department, and the overall Accounting & Finance leadership structure. This role will support operations within the continental United States, specifically within the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. This role will communicate with the IRS and State Agencies as needed. Knowledge of partnership tax and experience with tax/accounting software is preferred.salary: $55,000 - $600,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorResponsibilities Provide guidance locations within portfolio on exemptions, tax rate changes, and other tax compliance issues. Timely file and pay tax related statements Provide information to internal tax leadership as communicated by state and federal agencies Internally audit invoices to ensure proper use of tax Review and prepare analysis of compliance and law changes realted to areas of service Resolve tax notices received from state and local tax jurisdictions.
