Senior Accountant

job summary:
Senior Accountant - $60,000 to $90,000 plus bonus

Multiple Senior Accountant opportunities with several growing privately held company in the suburbs of Lancaster. An ideal role for a public accountant looking to continue his / her career development and advancement outside of public accounting. Also a great "next step" for an Accountant with 1 - 6 years of industry / corporate accounting experience.

Responsibilities will include--

  • Coordinate month end and year-end closing process.
  • Complete account reconciliations and financial review.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and prepare and analyze financial data.
  • Assisting with the monthly business and financial analysis including calculating variances from budget and reporting significant issues to management.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of one year of accounting experience. Our client will also consider candidates coming directly out of public accounting firms.

Our client would strongly prefer candidates with strong PC Systems skills (Excel, etc.) and experience working with an ERP system. Candidates with experience streamlining processes are strongly preferred.
