Job Title: Sr. Recruiter

Position Description

  • The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing the acquisition of talent for requirements across a number of disciplines, and multiple locations.
  • You will be responsible for implementing innovative and creative recruitment solutions and help to develop internal and external pipelines and communities.
Position Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units
  • Developing continual pipeline of quality candidates
  • Headhunting the best talent in the market
  • Recruit through multiple channels - social media, careers site, networking and agreed preferred suppliers (where appropriate)
  • Collaborate with client groups to understand their hiring needs, goals and business and become a trusted Recruiting Business Partner;
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience by effectively managing each recruitment process to a high standard
  • Conduct candidate phone screen & first interviews face to face

    Coordinate interviews / assessments / background checks/right to work as required
  • Utilising search functions from a variety of job boards
  • Create talent market maps and internal and external pipelines and communities
  • Identify talent gaps and trends within support areas and proactively build supply channels to fill those needs
  • Meeting with the team weekly to discuss new requirements
  • Being an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team and assisting where necessary with ad hoc tasks
Position Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3 - 5 years' experience as an agency or in-house Recruiter, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry
  • Knowledge of current employment law, worker's compensation, ADA, EEOC, and FMLA is necessary. Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
  • Be a confident recruiter, able to proactively resource for your business areas and support your hiring managers through the process
  • A strong awareness of external market trends
  • A strong knowledge in multiple areas of recruitment methodology (Direct attraction of high quality candidates, Interview and assessment design, passive hiring, service oriented etc)
  • Confident and professional interview skills, experience of using behavioural Psychometric tools is beneficial
  • Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process
  • Articulate with excellent writing skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality and diplomacy
  • A quality focused approach to recruitment
  • Strong networking skills
