The successful candidate will lead a diverse team of biologists and scientists, and will be responsible for all in vitro biochemical and cellular assays, in vitro safety pharmacology studies, and production of biological reagents, including from the bench for target discovery, validation, biochemical and cellular assay development for hits finding, confirmation and optimization.
Design and establish robust cellular assays (e.g. proliferation, reporter gene assays), biochemical (fluorescence and label free) , and biophysical (drug-target interaction, e.g. SPR, ITC) for hits finding and lead optimization.
The individual will be expected to drive innovation and develop new enabling capabilities within Discovery Biology, and interact closely with other functional teams.
The candidate will explore and develop innovative technologies to advance projects and analyze scientific results, provide oral and written reports, and remain current to literature reports and technological developments.
According to Group strategic development needs, Search, evaluate and introduce new projects and new technologies in the potential field of biology, and be responsible for technical cooperation and development.
The successful candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong leadership experience, and the ability to prioritize options, anticipate challenges, and execute on goals in a fast paced and customer-oriented environment.
Candidate holds Ph.D in in Biochemistry or related fields, and with In-depth of related working experiences.
