3 Laboratory Technicians (temp to perm / 6 months) Location:

Lab Manager Hours/Shift:
They have 4 different start times 8:30am, 9:30am, 10am, & 11am. They will train for a couple weeks on the 8:30am shift and then move to the 11am start time. They must be flexible on all 4 especially during the contract period. This is an 8 hour shift, M thru F. Environment:

We are looking a recent high school grad or a local candidate that might be getting an associates. They must demonstrate the ability to communicate well, keep a tidy and clean workplace, attention to detail, willingness to learn and collaborate, and have basic computer knowledge. The environment is light and tight knit and they cross train you in multiple areas.

Maintain laboratory and office supplies, equipment, instruments
Engage in proper and safe conduct in daily work and other activities
Maintain, calibrate, service, organize, clean, and store our laboratory equipment, workstations, facilities, tools, etc.
Utilize and properly handle and store hot plates, high temperature and pressure sterilizers, hoods, liquid mixers/handlers/dispensers, thermometers, balances, test tubes, petri dishes, etc.
Communicate securely and effectively in person and online - thorough use of tools and platforms like Laptops, WebCams, Mobile Tablets, Zoom, FaceTime, BaseCamp, Microsoft 365, Google Drives/Docs, and more
Adapt quickly as lab, regulating bodies, and/or customer needs change in real time and help serve our clients and stakeholder communities the best we can
Assist in laboratory testing and research projects
Receive and process client samples, conduct required testing, compile and analyze results, and create reports according to lab procedures
Organize and properly document raw materials and assist in lab's internal intermediary production of composited/manufactured supplies, reagents, culture media, etc.
Follow laboratory SOPs and other operating requirements
Utilize data and information management strategies to automate and digitize laboratory operations and quality processes
Engage in selection and implementation of laboratory automation equipment
Must have a High School Diploma/GED.
Must be detail orientated and have strong communication/written skills
Must be willing to have a flexible schedule
Must have knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
